United States of America Department of State said that the people travelling to Lebanon will be at risk because of more terrorist activities in the past few days. All people from United States have been warned not to travel to Lebanon. This decision has been taken considering the security in Lebanon.
United States said that there may be a rise of violence in Lebanon. This probability has been there as always. The U.S government officially declared that they cannot give the guarantee for the protection and security of their citizens. This is a disgrace for the country. U.S citizens are living over there in threat. Every now and then, they feel insecure. Many of them had already left the place and shifted somewhere else. Others are still decided to leave.
There is some major portion of people who are compelled to live there. They have their family and business over there, which is very difficult to shift. So they have no other choice other than live in Lebanon. The U.S government clearly stated that the security services for the citizens will be limited in coming days. They also said that they cannot provide full security to the citizens.
The scholars of US who got the chance to work in Lebanon had been withdrawn from teaching service temporarily. This act took place due to increased chances of an attack on the citizens of Lebanon. The people of Lebanon were the primary target in recent times by the Anti-Western terrorists. Also the people who are planning to visit Lebanon were warned. They were told not to perform any official works these days. Their information may be hacked by others.
The citizens were told not to gather in any crowded place as it may be the chance of some potential threat. Lebanese-Syrian border is a matter of great concern. It is a place of high danger. United States of America Embassy said to avoid that border as much as possible.
The U.S Embassy has also made it clear that their access to the whole Lebanon is restricted. They can’t assure security to every single citizen of Lebanon. The US said several times to leave the country as soon as possible. The government will not be responsible if anything happens to any individual. The government failed in providing security to every individual.
The citizens of the country can ask for help from the country in shifting to another place. They should not hesitate to ask for help. The government is ready to help anyone who seeks for it. All the citizens should have their identification documentations updated. The government can ask for ID cards due to security reasons. The documents will be required again when they re-enter in the country. So travelling to Lebanon is strictly warned by the US government.
