Fall is just around the corner, and many people anxiously await its arrival after the sweltering summer. The harvest season is an opportune time of the year to give your home a makeover, as there is definitely a distinct look and feel to fall home décor. Fortunately, you don’t have to spend a lot of money to bring your home into the new season. Here are seven fall decorating tips for budget conscious homeowners:
Focus on your front door. It’s the first thing people will see when approaching your home, and a great way to make a first impression that says, “Fall is here!” Hang a fall wreath, and frame the door with topiaries (if you don’t want to spring for a plant topiary, try making one out of pumpkins).

Warm up your fireside. Your fireplace is a focal point that you should pay special attention to during the fall season. Purchase a decorative log holder and stack it high with chopped wood for an authentic, earthy fall feel in your living or family room.
