Halloween is no longer a time for just the kids to have fun, though you may be a little old to go out trick or treating you can still play some tricks or have some treats at your very own Halloween party! So get out your pens and paper, start thinking up a guest list and menu because we’re about to go through 6 of the best Halloween party ideas that will have your guests howling for more.

A Good Old Fashioned Monster Mash

It’s time to get your ghoul on! Relive your childhood and adolescence with an old fashioned monster mash party where every ghoul, from Dracula to Frankenstein is welcome! Don’t forget to serve Dead Man’s Fingers (sausages), Eyeballs (lychees), Brain Jelly and Squashed Frog Tarts (spinach and cheese quiche) as you bask in the glow of multiple Jack’o lanterns. Get a little nostalgic with black and orange paper chains, pin-the-arm-on-the-zombie and maybe even a grown up version of murder in the dark! Why not try creating some fun cocktails for your guests too?

Zombies

The undead of the hour, you won’t find a shortage of zombie related things to do for your party. If you feel like getting really active why not try playing a no holds barred game of humans verses Zombies? Have your gusts come as characters from various zombie survival films and games (Resident Evil, World War Z or The Walking Dead) and have some screaming good fun as you dance it up to Thriller, sip on Zombie cocktails and party hard enough to wake the dead.

Kitchens become crime labs and guests can dance in the briefing room-cum-crime scene, if you want to bring in elements of shows like Breaking Bad you can buy the blue candy they used to simulate meth and hand it out to your friends.
